10 Authors to Read in Honor of National Author's Day

National Author's Day is celebrated on November 1st! In honor of this observance, we are sharing 10 authors that you may not have heard of before. More excitingly, 5 of these authors are the personal recommendations of people like you! Thanks to everyone who contributed the names of their favorite authors for this article.   1. Adam Golaski: An author of "strange" fiction, Golaski's style is minimalistic to the point that it is nearly spartan, leaving it to his readers to tug at the threads and weave them together for themselves. Much of his work has been published through NO Press. His second collection of short stories, Stone Gods, is coming soon.   2. Alethea Faust: Recommended by one of our followers, Alethea Faust writes "kinky, queer, erotic epic fantasy" which is intended for audiences ages 18 and up.   4. Daniel Stalter: A comic book and short fiction writer, his most recent short comic release is an adult comic about queer love and acceptance called, Euphoria. Kahaula: Another recommendation from one of you, This Hawaiian author writes polyamorous romance that crosses over with a variety of other genres, including but not limited to Hawaiian Contemporary, Paranormal, and Alt-History, written for adult audiences.
