Temporarily Impermanent (a poem)

Published on 4 April 2025 at 14:14

life roots us in its tangle

while the sky drifts beyond reach,

a bridge of thoughts stretch over the dark

where absence carves out its own space,

then dawn arrives

cradling the sun’s first touch,

dissolving the weight of sleep into the air

and in the cracks of our shared resolve,

hope whispers its quiet promise,

each word an echo

temporarily impermanent

and yet, and yet,

from skin to the heart

a chorus of light

floods the silence,

binding us

in a deep, endless

embrace.
