Congratulations to the winners of the November writing contest! The Theme was MYTHOLOGICAL CREATURES & CRYPTIDS.
Thank you to everyone who participated in this month's Flash Fiction and Poetry Contest! First, I'd like to congratulate everyone on a job well-done. The stories and poems submitted this month were unique twists on mythological creatures and filled with the unexpected.
I encourage you to read each other's work and to support one another on your writing journeys. These writing contests are about community and supporting one another as writers. One way we can do that is by reading and celebrating each other's work. I'll be featuring stories and poems from this month's contest during the coming month, but you can find some of them at the links below.
Contest Results:
First Place: "The Keres" by John Grim
Second Place: "Ache" by Sartorius
Third Place: "A Werewolf and Vampire Ballad" by Ann E. Mckenzie
Honorable Mention: "Genie" by Written Bedrotten
Image Description: A statue of an ancient, Greco-Roman god riding a horse. His beard and hair is long and thick, and his head is crowned. He has an angry expression on his face. He is bare-chested and his arms look as if they are sprouting wings.
