June is Immigrant Heritage Month! During this month, we celebrate the contributions of immigrants and their descendants to American society. The first Immigrant Heritage Month in the United States was officially celebrated in 2014. Not every state and municipality has issued proclamations recognizing June as Immigrant Heritage Month.
