Underground Bookshelf is a project designed to celebrate diversity in literature. True diversity requires the inclusion of a wide range of voices. You can be a part of diversifying the stories and resources that Underground Bookshelf delivers each week! Share your suggestions for resource articles and subject matter by emailing contact.undergroundbookshelf@gmail.com, share this project with your friends and family, or submit your own stories to be featured as a guest writer! You don't have to be a professional author to contribute to this project, just a story you are itching to tell. All genres are welcome. Please review the submission guidelines below. Happy writing!
If you are a prospective guest writer, please include:
- the title of your work,
- the name you would like to be credited under,
- your pronouns,
- a short bio (50 words or less),
- a tag line for your short story,
- your short story in its entirety (2,000 words or less).
Submissions can be sent to contact.undergroundbookshelf@gmail.com. Please write "Guest Writer Submission" in the subject of the email so that it can be easily distinguished from other subjects. Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis.
*Guest writers are not paid and I am not a publishing company. You retain the rights to your work. Submissions are not guaranteed to be posted, but I will do my best to review all submissions in a timely manner.
