Thursday seems to have become my upload day! I'm not sure if it will stay that way, but it seems to be working for now. Today's uploads are "Jace" and "10 Queer Books That Have Been Banned."
"Jace" is a short story about a teen facing down school regulations that limit his ability tp be who he is. This kind of thing is happening all over the United States, making it even harder for queer youth to find safe spaces in which they can be themselves without fear of discrimination or hate.
The resource uploaded today is rather self-explanatory. Books with LGBTQ2IA+ themes or characters have increasingly become the target of book bans and challenges. Most of the time, they are simply stories that offer realistic representation to a marginalized community. Today's resource pulls together a list of ten queer books that have been challenged and banned, as well as suggestions on where to find them.
