Welcome to the Underground Bookshelf! Reading can be a pricey hobby and stories with diverse characters don't always make it to local bookstores and libraries. With so many communities banning books with queer characters and characters of color, it's getting even harder for readers to find stories about people like them.
My goal is to use this blog as a way to share more diverse stories that are accessible to everyone. While my personal experience resides at the intersections of queerness and disability, I will always try my best to share stories that reflect the many varied experiences out there.
Stop by anytime to read new stories and find resources for diverse reading. There will always be free stories available on this website, though I also look forward to publishing longer works through Amazon or other methods. You can hear about these projects through updates on this website.
